Primary Carpet Backing

Primary carpet backing is the foundational material, typically woven polypropylene, into which carpet yarn is stitched (tufted) during manufacturing. It provides crucial structural stability, durability, and form retention, acting as the base before the adhesive and secondary backing are applied.
